Founded on August 29, 1986 as ORTIM, the company based in Kiel, Erfurt, and Munich offers consulting services as well as hardware and software solutions in the field of Industrial Engineering. In 2010, the company ORTIM became part of the dmc-group and changed its name to dmc-ortim.

The range of services for our customers in industry and service companies has continuously evolved over the past decades and adapted to technical changes. So in addition to the professional time study recording device ORTIM a5, there are now numerous in-house developed software solutions for recording time studies with tablet or smartphone (ORTIM a6, ORTIM b6, ORTIM c6). With ORTIMzeit, the time studies from the various recording devices of the ORTIM system are clearly prepared. The dmc-ortim portfolio convinces through specialized products such as CAPP Knowledge. The leading planned time system integrates seamlessly into existing SAP environments. ORTIMplan, on the other hand, supports ERP system-independent work planning and serves as a bridge between modern time management and the system-based planning world, the ERP systems. To identify strengths and weaknesses of business processes, we use the multi-moment procedure, which we can quickly and efficiently prepare and evaluate depending on the application using ORTIMmulti or ORTIMnotes.

In addition to hardware and software, we also offer our customers consulting services related to work planning and work organization using time management methods (REFA and MTM). We support data collection and processing as well as guide the entire process. Depending on customer requirements, we support complete projects or provide individual coaching and product training.

The popular “dmc-ortim user meeting” takes place in Erfurt every two years. Here, users and customers have the opportunity to engage in direct exchange with each other and discuss the latest developments. In expert presentations, customers present individual application examples and projects.
