Zen v15 SP2
The Actian Zen database is used in dmc-ortim products. Product keys are required to use Actian Zen Workgroup and Server. You can purchase the product key from your distributor. If you do not have a product key yet, you can use Actian Zen for 30 days for testing.

Actian Zen v15 SP2 is available from April 2023.

Licenses for Actian PSQL v11, v12, v13 and Actian Zen v14 cannot be transferred.

Zen v15 Workgroup SP2

The Workgroup needs its own license.
The Workgroup is installed on a PC on which the ORTIM software is installed. The workgroup can also access a server installation. In this case the Workgroup works as a Client.

The installation includes digital signatures (SHA 256) for all .dll and .exe files to comply with Windows 11 SAC (Smart App Control) standards.

The Client is installed on a PC that accesses a server installation. The ORTIM software and its data are on the server. Access to PC data is not possible.

The Enterprise Server is used with a user-dependent license model.
The Enterprise Server is suitable for use in physical and virtual environments.
The machine of a virtual Enterprise Server installation must be bound to a host and is therefore not suitable for systems with load balancing.

The installation includes digital signatures (SHA 256) for all .dll and .exe files to comply with Windows 11 SAC (Smart App Control) standards.

Since revision 3 the 128 bit encryption between client and server is enabled.
