System settings

Display

The display of list elements is now initially restricted to 3000. By means of a new system setting, this value can be defined within the limits of between 500 and 5000. It is not advisable to use greater values.

Uniqueness

A new setting for controlling the uniqueness is available. A new setting allows you to define how uniqueness is to be handled.

Select Define uniqueness system-wide to define the settings for uniqueness the same for all the databases (default).

Select Define uniqueness for each database if you wish to define the settings separately for each database. If this option is selected, you need to set the uniqueness in the database settings.

Work planning, Influencing quantities

When using the new setting Use influence quantities from user fields, process lines search for their parameters in the user fields of the work plan and working process.

A new setting for checking the ranges from influencing quantities in formulas is available [2].

Decision tables

A new setting is available for frames.

Normally, frames are loaded when the start decision table is executed. If you check the setting Allow reloading of frames, frames are also reloaded when each further decision table is called up (if frames are defined there).

Warn

Make sure that the decision tables whose frames are reloaded are not used in a loop.

A new setting is available for masks.

Warn

Sorting large lists takes a long time. If you use large lists, you should deactivate sorting.

New settings are available for the process control.

Warn

Only change these values after first consulting dmc-ortim.

Database settings

Uniqueness

Select Check if the code is unique if, when creating a new process, the code is to be checked for uniqueness in the active database.
