•Calculation module

oOffer navigator

▪You will find a search box for offers above the offer list.

oEdit offer

▪Work plans can now be reduced in size prior to being imported into the item list. A new selection window is available, which allows you to deselect subfolders, working processes and process lines.

▪The selection window also takes over the function of the selection list used to date.

▪The work plan catalog now allows you to set any folders/work plans you desire as the root. This reduces the work plan structure to the selected folder/work plan.

▪The document catalog has been separated out of the previous catalog as a separate window. The catalog is now available on every page of the quotation wizard in the toolbar via Documents.

▪Separate user rights are now available for each page of the quotation wizard.

▪Separate rights are available on the Cost accounting page for each allowance.

•ERP interface

oThe material import facility has been extended. It is now possible to specify a material folder (new meaning Material: Folder). The material folder is created under the root folder. The material is appended to the material folder.

•Command line

oThe new command line option /multipleinstances is available. This makes it possible to launch ORTIMplan more than once.

Warn

Launching multiple instances of ORTIMplan should only be allowed for ORTIMplan versions installed in parallel, where it is ensured that the installations do not impact on each other. This is possible by performing an installation in Expert mode, where the folders, settings and designations are specified separately from each other.

Improvements

•Edit standard time formulas

oIt is now possible to adjust the columns of the formula list.

oEditing is now locked if a formula has stock protection status.

•System settings

oWork planning, analysis: A default status for analysis lines is available. The status is assigned to an analysis line when it is created.

•Database settings

oThe database settings file BTRIEVE.INI is renamed to PSQL.INI by the setup program.

oThe Database page has been removed. The settings can be modified via the file PSQL.INI in the administrators’ program directory.

oA number of settings have been removed from the Network page. The settings removed can be modified via the file PSQL.INI in the administrators’ program directory.

oThe User fields page has been extended. Two new columns Created and Modified are available.

•User manager

oIt is now possible to change the position of groups, users and roles using the drag and drop technique.

•XML interface

oInactive elements are now identified with the attribute Inactive="true". The schema version has been incremented to 1.0.7.

•Command line

oThe insecure method of logging on with the parameters /user and /pwd is no longer possible. Logging on with /logon:LOGONCODE is now available as an alternative.

•All the hotfixes made available for version 7.0 are integrated in version 7.1.
