Work planning

•The import of work cycle elements from ORTIMzeit 8 is now available. ORTIMzeit 8 no longer uses the Actian Zen database, which was a prerequisite for the previous import method. The new work cycle element import takes the work cycle elements from the .xml files generated in ORTIMzeit.

•A new import function for work processes is available. Using <Import process lines from ORTIMplan database>, you can copy the process lines of work processes from another database into the selected work process.

Improvements

Text blocks

•Text blocks from process systems can now also be used in the Navigator for folders, work plans, processes, and working processes. Click the ... menu to open the process catalog and select a process system with text blocks. The text is imported by double-clicking a cell in the process system marked with a + symbol.

•The control characters \r\n (line break) and \t (tab) can now be used in text modules to format the text.

ERP interface

•The new setting <Disable all working processes of a work plan before updating> for ERP import is now available.

User Management

•Users in the System Administrators group can no longer be assigned their own roles. They always inherit the group's roles.

•Users moved to the System Administrators group inherit the group's roles. Their own user roles are removed.

•The last active user in the System Administrators group cannot be deleted or moved to another group.

•The System Administrators group itself cannot be moved.

Settings

•New system settings for processes are available in the <Work Planning> area. You can control the behavior when processes are adopted using the options listed below <Process Catalog>.

•The system use settings have been moved from the Work Planning, Processes page to the Work Planning page.

•A new use setting, <Search in all databases>, is available. This setting is disabled by default.

Updates

•All hotfixes that were provided for older versions are integrated in version 9.0.1.

•The OpenSSL libraries have been updated to version 3.5.5 LTS: libssl-3.dll, libcrypto-3.dll.

•7-Zip has been updated to version 26.0: 7z.exe, 7z.dll.
