New•Layout oNew icons are available. oThe icons are available in various sizes (small - 16x16, medium - 24x24, large - 32x32). oThe default scheme is now the Office color scheme; the default for the size of the icons in the toolbar is now large. oThe basic size of the screen fonts has been increased from 9 point to 10 point; the size is adjustable. •User Manager oRoles ▪Roles adopt the user authorizations (program functions and data accesses) from the user groups. ▪Roles are connected to user groups and to users. ▪Multiple roles can be connected. ▪When the new User Manager is started for the first time, the necessary roles are automatically created; the user authorizations used to date are transferred from the existing user groups; the new roles are connected to the existing user groups. •The editor for editing roles has been completely re-designed. •Roles can now be selectively opened and closed. oForgotten password ▪The login window (menu button bottom left) allows an ORTIMplan administrator who has forgotten his password to request a new one. ▪This involves a password code being created, which is sent to dmc-ortim. dmc-ortim then uses this password code to generate a one-time password. ▪After logging on with this one-time password, the administrator must create a new password for himself. ▪A one-time password expires after 4 hours. ▪This method is only available for ORTIMplan administrators to use. For normal ORTIMplan users, the ORTIMplan administrator is required to assign the new password. oRestrict logon attempts ▪The number of login attempts can now be restricted. ▪In the group properties a new field Maximum login attempts is available. ▪Valid values are 3 to 99; the default is 99. ▪If the number of login attempts exceeds the value, the user account is either disabled (normal users) or for 5 minutes locked (administrators). ▪A disabled user account can be enabled by an ORTIMplan administrator. oProfile ▪The user profile has been extended with an e-mail address and a profile picture. •Multi-client capability oIf several clients use one ORTIMplan installation, each client can use its own user manager and its own print forms. oTo do this, start the program with the command line option /userdb:FILENAME. FILENAME is the file name of the user database; the file must be located in the ORTIMplan data directory. oTo do this, start the program with the command line option /formdb:FILENAME. FILENAME is the file name of the forms database; the file must be located in the ORTIMplan system directory. •Work planning ▪A new system property cost factor is available for work plans and working processes. ▪The cost factor affects only the calculation module module by now. ▪The cost factor can be edited in the navigator. ▪It is now possible to assign position numbers for the selected working processes in the navigator. •Calculation module oOffer data can now be exported in CSV format. This makes it possible for instance to adapt the terms in line with company-specific features. oExample: Replace the term work plan code with product number. oYou can define the terms for the Work planning and Calculation modules under System settings, View, Terms. oWhen the system diagnosis is sent to dmc-ortim, the user’s own terms are also transferred, so that the dmc-ortim support team can use the correct terms in discussions. •MTM analysis oThe following analysis systems are now available: MTM-LOGISTIK_2014, MTM-MEK_2014, MTM-MEKA_2014, MTM-MOS_2014, MTM-UAS_2014, MTM-UASM_2014, MTM1_2014, MTM2_2014. •Database system ORTIMobjectbase oThe database system now supports client-side data compression. oThe user data is compressed on the workstation PC while saving. oThe network load is thereby significantly reduced. Improvements•Print forms preview oThe print form preview has been re-designed. Scrolling with the scrollbar is no longer based on a page, but to the entire form. •MTM Work Factor analysis oThis analysis has been completely revised. The import function for system settings can filter the directory settings. •Installation oThe default language for the first program start can now be definded in the setup control file (setup.ini). A language can be entered as the default language in section Language with item Default=Deutsch or English. The default language is transmitted to the programs control file (control.ini) and read at the first program start. oThe new Hardlock (dongle) is displayed in the installer.
