Work Planning

•Navigator

oTime categories for time modules: The tab has been revised.

oImport time studies

▪A new import option <working process/process module per study> is available. During the import, working processes or process modules are created for each time study, the contents of which are the respective work cycle elements.

▪For this purpose, the rules for name and code are set sensibly.

▪The new option is now the default option.

•All resource types are now listed in the work planning overview window. It is no longer necessary to switch to a subwindow.

•The default icons for work plans, processes and materials are now used uniformly throughout the program.

•Persons

oPersons now have an effective working time. This time is used in the line balancing.

oPersons can now be connected to workstations and working process lines.

Line balancing

•The line balancing settings are now saved in the work plan. Default settings are the workstation or user settings.

•All available persons and machines are now displayed in groups in the line balancing view. The persons and machines can be connected to work plans, working processes and workstations.

•In the line balancing view, workstations, persons and machines can now be assigned to work plans and working processes.

•The connection of persons and machines to working process lines can now be created by drag & drop from the resource list to the working process lines.

•An evaluation window is available. In the future, time evaluations of working processes for persons and machines will be displayed here.

Task scheduler

•Task groups

oThe task planner now supports task groups. This allows tasks to be grouped together.

oTask groups can be expanded and collapsed in the task planner.

oTask groups and tasks within a group can be moved.

•A new option <Check process databases> is available for the task <Check use lists>. With knowledge of the contents of the process databases, the running time of the task can be significantly reduced.

System settings

•The time category settings have been moved to the work planning area.

System

•The overview windows have been improved. New icons are used for individual areas.

•An <Undo> icon has been added to toolbars whose windows have one or more text editors. This allows you to undo the last change in the active text editor.

Actian Zen v15

•The <File Close Delay> setting of 50 milliseconds introduced by Actian with Zen v15 is reset to the old default value of 0 milliseconds by installation.

Actian Zen v16

•Actian Zen v16 is available.

•Actian Zen v16 is currently not shipped by dmc-ortim.

•When you purchase Actian Zen yourself, your commitment is fully guaranteed.

•Actian Zen and its settings are displayed by ORTIMplan in the system administration.

Updates

•All hotfixes that were provided for older versions are integrated in version 8.9.2.

•The OpenSSL libraries have been updated to version 3.3.1: libssl-3.dll, libcrypto-3.dll.

•7-Zip has been updated to version 24.6: 7z.exe, 7z.dll.
