Upgrading from program version 8.0 or older to program version 8.1 you require a new program license.

•NX Edition

oThe NX Edition is available to special customers and has to be activated via a PIN code.

•System settings

oWork planning, influence quantities

▪ The Calculate settings have now been placed on a separate subpage.

▪New settings for specifying the Display in the description field for parameter entry (Enter influence quantities) are available.

o(NX Edition only) NX interface

▪The directories of the NX interface are set here: Import directory, log directory, archive directory.

▪Specification of a work plan user field into which the item reference or file name for the NX transfer file can be written.

•Calculation module (so far Sales module)

oAccess to material management is now available directly in the calculation main window.

oOffer

▪Form block Production Content (Enhanced): A new column Cost Rate is available.

▪The offer code can be changed.

▪Positions: New icons are available. The icons indicate whether material and documents are connected.

▪Catalog, material search: You can now search for several materials via a semicolon separated entry in the search field.

Improvements

•User Manager

oThe rights structure has been reorganized in some areas.

▪The Hierarchies area has been removed. The rights placed there for Process folder, Work plans, Offer projects and Template folders have been moved.

▪Process folders and Work plans are available directly on the top level.

▪Offer projects and Template folders are now below the Sales section.

oNew rights are available for cost centers (Rename) and wage groups (Create and Delete). The rights are enabled by default.

•Enter influence quantities

oFrom the local menu or Ctrl+Up or Ctrl+Down you can now go to the previous or next unfilled input field.

o (NX Edition only) The hamburger options menu at the bottom left features the Import NX values function. This involves influence quantities being read in via the NX interface. Previously assigned influence quantity placeholders are replaced by the read-in influence quantities.

Changes

•All hotfixes that were provided for older versions are integrated in version 8.1.

•FreeImage library 3.18.0: freeimage.dll.
