•User Manager

oThe storage of passwords has been improved.

▪A cryptographic salt value is now used. A new salt is calculated for each user database.

▪The password is now encrypted with SHA-256.

▪Passwords used to date are still valid. The new password security feature comes into effect when a password is next changed.

▪The logon code is now generated with SHA-256.

▪The logon codes used to date are no longer valid. The current logon code is displayed in the account settings, from where it can be copied to the clipboard.

▪If you use the ORTIMplan service, you must reinstall it and enter the new login code.

oThe password supplied with the program for the user taking delivery of the software Abel cannot be re-assigned.

oA password history is available. Passwords saved in this history cannot be re-used. The number of passwords that can be saved in the history can be defined separately for each user group.

oInvalid and aborted attempts to log on are now logged.

oWhen you start the program and when leaving the user administration, you are now informed if there are user groups without a license assignment.

oThe contents of the user database can now be exported to an XML file.

•Calculation module

oThe data model for offers has been changed.

▪Work areas are now stored separately from the offer.

▪The task of managing the work areas (e.g. locking) is much easier as a result.

oA function for updating position trees is available.

oAn advance planning function for projects is available.

▪The advance planning function allows portions of offers to be spread over a period of years.

oThe CSV export was supplemented by the offer name and number.

oThe factor of positions can be controlled via settings.

Improvements

•Time Category Allowances

oIt is now possible to specify allowances with a value of 0.0. The value is distinguished from unassigned values represented by ---.

oThe input pages for allowances in the system settings, in the settings for working processes, working process modules, and SCO's, and in the time category allowances groups were unified.

•Units

oThe units have been transferred to a separate database UNITS.BTD.

oOn opening, all the units defined to date in the application database are copied into the Units database and deleted afterwards from the application database.

Fixes

•All the hotfixes made available for version 7.6 are integrated in version 7.7.
