Improvements

•Time calculation

oThe runtime of the time calculation has been improved.

oThe runtime of the time calculation for user fields has been improved.

oThe results of the time calculation for work plans and working processes can additionally also be cached, meaning that they then do not have to be calculated for each access. Caching is enabled via the System settings in the System performance section. #3970

oA task for calculating the time results is available in the Task Scheduler. This task can be used for calculating all the time results, which are subsequently available for the next access. The task should be run on a regular basis (e.g. every night).

oSaved time results are automatically deleted if the work plan or the working process is modified or a time-related change is made in an underlying process.

oEditing a working process or a process module will now load the top level of the working process lines. When exanding a process line, the data are reloaded. #4112

•Navigator

oCSV export of work plans: Floating point numbers are no longer written in the exponential format; 9 decimal places are used instead. #3791

oSearch via search box: Inactive objects are highlighted in the search results in the color for inactive objects.

oThe function for checking the status active/inactive of a process line is available. #4050

•User Manager

oThe user settings are no longer stored in the user database. The settings are now stored in the subfolder user-settings of the data directory. For each ORTIMplan user, a settings file with the user name is generated. The user’s settings are read from the database when they next sign in, copied into the settings file and subsequently removed from the user database. #4040

oThe characters allowed in the username have been restricted; only those characters are now allowed that can be used in file names.

oThe second password has been removed. #4124

•Program protection Softlock

oThe license file oplock.btd is no longer changed when a program session is running. The usage data stored there to date are now stored in the softlock directory beneath the data directory. #4039

oThe cleansing of licenses/usage data following an abnormal termination can now be performed by deleting the files in the softlock directory.

oSystem settings

▪The default time category has been changed from th to thb. The default time category for line balancing has been changed from th to thu.

▪The e-mail feature now supports the STARTTLS connection security option. #3589

▪Display: The option Use “Copy of” as copy prefix has been changed to Append “copy” when copying. The option is now used for working process lines too.

•Other improvements

oStatus codes

▪Only the necessary status codes are now created when opening a database. #4291

▪The meaning New has been provided.

oXML interface: Structural elements now have the attribute Type. The schema version and the file version has been changed to 1.0.5.

oThe keyboard shortcut CTRL+M is available for the function Enter influencing quantities. #3891

oHistory tab: The database is only displayed if it differs from the planning database.

oSystem administration: The character set settings for PSQL are now only displayed for PSQL versions 6 to 10.

oDatabase diagnosis: A new diagnostic function for process lines is available. The option Convert invalid lines into manual lines allows invalid process lines to be converted into in manual process lines. The manual lines are highlighted in the description by the additional specification database diagnosis, such that they can be found by a search and deleted, if necessary.

oData backup: The databases containing the time results (*-btt.btt) and the databases containing the process use (*-btu.btu) are included in the backup.

oInstallation: The setup programs for the program (Setup.exe) and the hotfixes (SetupHotfixes.exe) now creates entries in the Windows application event log.

Fixes

•All hotfixes that have been provided for version 6.0.2 have been integrated into the version.
