•Import SCOs from ORTIMzeit

oA new import procedure is available. With this procedure, the data are read from ORTIMzeit XML files. For this purpose, the automatic XML export facility should be enabled in ORTIMzeit. This eliminates problems with the assignment of data records to influence factors, which could occur with the old import procedure.

oTo do this enable the automatic XML synchronization in ORTIMzeit (system settings, study). Perform the XML synchronization for all of the existing time studies via the Task Scheduler.

oAn ORTIMzeit study evaluation is no longer necessary with the new procedure.

oThe old import procedure that reads the data from the ORTIMzeit study evaluation is still available.

•Change log for working processes and process modules

oA change log is available in the Work Plan and Process Navigator.

oThe log can be accessed from the Tools menu.

oAll modifications to the process lines are listed.

•Code for influence factors

oInfluence factors now have a code. The code can be used as an additional identification feature.

oThe code is also displayed in all the views for influence factors and in the forms.

oWhen transferring influence factors into formulas, only the influence factor names are transferred as variables.

•Import Work Cycle Elements from ORTIMzeit

oNew import rules are available.

oThe previously effective code rules are now available for the name.

•ERP interface

oThe setting Import existing work plan as a link is available for importing in the Task Scheduler and for importing manually.

•System settings

oStandard times

▪With the new settings the SCO import procedures (evaluation, XML) could be activated or deactivated.

oERP interface

▪The setting Insert folder/work plan under is available.

▪This allows the folder to be specified under which the new folders and work plans are to be incorporated into the work plan structure.

Improvements

•Import from ORTIMplan database

oTime category allowances groups are now identified based on name and code.

oIf Copy complete folder structure is chosen, only the original folders are copied.

oThe control of the progress bar has been improved; the import process can now be canceled.

•Navigator, Find and Replace

oThe same time category columns as in the Navigator are now displayed in the search results for working processes and process modules.

•Edit, assign, select influence factors

oA search box is available above the influence factor list.

oThe search facility searches by name, code and unit.

oIn case of a hit, the corresponding influence factor is selected in the influence factor list.

•System settings, totals for comment lines

oA new system settings governs the calculation of the time sums. With Include number and frequency in time result the number and frequency are included in the total time.

oA simple calculation of the sums of time category reportings is available. The calculation is always performed when no or same time category allowances are assigned for the relevant working process lines.

•Logic module

oThe accesses to database tables have been improved. The access path to the database table is now saved with system variables (e.g. %DATABASE%). The system variables are replaced during runtime with the currently active directory.

oThis makes it easy to switch folder structures (e.g. for a new installation).

•Calculation module

oThe cost calculation models hasve been removed from the program and transferred ton external files (as time category classifications). This customer-specific adaptations of cost calculation are easily possible.

oNew terms are available, which are used in the print form.

•All the hotfixes made available for version 7.2 are integrated in version 7.3.
