The list features the possible meanings that a field can have in ORTIMplan. Double-clicking with the mouse on a meaning allows you to assign it to the selected field.

You use the meaning to define how the data fields of the import/export file (transfer file) relate to the data fields of the ORTIMplan data objects (work plan, working process). The mapping rule is created via the meaning.

Import

During import, the import field contents are entered into the corresponding ORTIMplan field.

Info

If you choose the meaning user field, the user field is identified by the field name.

Identification

You can use some meanings to identify existing data in the database. To do this, you have to select the Identification option in the bottom right corner of the file configurator.

Import without record sign

You can use the following meanings for identification.

Identification of work plans

Work plan: name

Work plan: code

Work plan: status

Work plan: user field

Possible meanings

1.Object fields (object properties e.g. name, code, description)

2.User fields of the objects

3.System fields (e.g. date, time)

4.Settings (e.g. settings: unit)

S-record and C-record and without record sign (only import)

Work plan: Remove material connection

Working process: Remove material connection

This removes a connection between work plan and material and a working process and material.

Warn

All material fields that do not carry the identification feature are ignored when the field Remove material connection is filled (eg. with 1, x, yes, true). A non-filled field is not evaluated and does not remove the connection.

T-record

Table: Row

Identifies the line, in which the data is imported.

Table: Column (export only)

The column is specified, in conjunction with the row (Table: Row) indicating the cell that is the source of the exported value.

M-record (import only)

Material: Folder

A material folder with the given name is applied under the root folder. On this folder the material is appended.

Info

If the first character of the given name is a #, the name is entered not directly, but determined by a rule.
