Company history
The dmc-group consists of five traditional, medium-sized companies, each of which have a history of success going back over decades. Together, they are a closely knit team, which jointly provides consulting services and customer care as well as develops individual solutions.
DMC Germany was founded in 1984 as DMC Datenverarbeitungs- und Management Consulting GmbH in Munich, and since then has been providing services for clients such as BMW, Eurofighter and Microsoft, among others. In 1989, the company expanded to Austria (DMC Datenverarbeitungs- und Management Consulting Ges.m.b.H.). Five years later, the company’s portfolio was extended yet again by affiliating itself with IFTT EDV-Consult GmbH, a renowned provider of training courses and workshops in Frankfurt for over the last 20 years.
In 2010, dmc-ortim came aboard, a company that has been in operation in Kiel and Erfurt since 1986. dmc-ortim not only addresses the challenges in the field of industrial engineering but also offer related hardware and software solutions in addition to comprehensive consulting services.
In 2015, another competent partner was added to the dmc-group: Kölsch & Altmann Software & Management Consulting GmbH. Since January 1st, 2018 the Munich-based company is called dmc-smartsystems GmbH.
