Control file for interface

The PPS.INI control file is used for configuring the ERP Interface. The contents of the file are filled primarily using settings pages of ORTIMplan.

A second control file PPS-LOG.INI comprises time events, e.g. date and time of the last export. A number of program sections utilize these events, e.g. data export - all changes since the last export. The time events are generated for each database and for each import file.

Frequently changing names for the database or import file can greatly increase the size of this file. You can delete the file at any time without impairing the functionality of the ERP interface.

Special entries

Section	Key	Value
Export	IgnoredExportObjects	List of object IDs separated by blanks. The records with the matching IDs will not be exported.
	DumpExportObjects	0 or 1. Activates (1) or deactivated (0) the printing of the current record directly on the Windows desktop.

Example

The following example shows the control file for an import with a separate format and record identification code. The control file is edited using ORTIMplan tools and should not be edited with other tools (e.g. text editors). You can, however, simply transfer the file to other PCs and continue editing them there with ORTIMplan.
